REDUCING EXPENSES WANGANUI DECISIONS Of considerable interest to members of racing clubs and racegoers generally were several resolutions which were carried at Thursday’s conference of Wanganui district racing club delegates at Marton. The resolutions were as follow: “That all clubs in the district agree to abolish complimentary tickets except those for owners, and also tickets to be given out by the president of each club at his discretion to distinguished visitors.” “That each club »in the district be asked to restrict as far as possible the issue of complimentary luncheon tickets and. where possible, substitute counter lunches for the present system.” "That the uniform closing time for nominations in the Wanganui District Committee’s area be 9 p.m. “That an effort be made by clubs to j cut down the intervals between races.’* TARANAKI HUNT ENTRIES Nominations for the Taranaki Hunt Club’s annual race meeting on August 30 close with the secretary.
