MACDONALD MINE
CONTRACT LET FOR TRUCKS Prom Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Sunday. A contract has been let by Glen Aftou Collieries, Limited, for the supply of 809 haulage trucks and couplings, at a cost of approximately £12,000, in connection with the arrangement the company has made with the Government for opening the MacDonald coal mine, near Huntly. The contract has been let to J. J. Niven and Company, Ltd., which firm has cabled to England for the material.
