COLLISION AT CORNER
FOUR PERSONS INJURED MOTOR-CARS DAMAGED Special to THE SIX TUAKAU, Sunday. As a result of a collision between two cars at a corner on tho Harrisville Road this afternoon, four persons were injured. Mr. A. G. Rowles. of Pukeltohe Hill, received a fracture of the leg and one ankle was dislocated. He received medical attention at Pukekohe and was then taken to the Auckland Hospital. Mr. R. Y’ant. of Pukekohe, suffered a severe scalp wound. He was admitted to a private hospital. Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Hoddiuott, of Pukekohe Hill, received head injuries. After treatment they were able to proceed home. The two cars met at the corner about half a mile east of the Harrisville School. One was owned by Mr. Hoddinott, in which there were also Mrs. and Miss Hoddinott, Mr. Rowles and Mr. Vant. The other was a heavy two-seater car, driven by Mr. Knowles, of Te Awamutu. Miss Hoddinott and the occupants of the two-seater car escaped injuries except for minor cuts and abrasions.
