APANUI BUFFETED
From Our Own Correspondent WHANG.4REI, Today. Tbe steamer Apanui arrived at Whangarei town wharf this morning after a severe buffeting during the whole trip from Auckland last night. The cajiius and saloon were flooded but little damage was done. Mountainous seas were encountered up the coast and the vessel also shipped a number of big seas inside Whangarei Harbour.
