INCIDENT CLOSED

SPEECH BY STUDENTS* PRESIDENT DETAILS OF GRIEVANCES Special to THE SVX WELLINGTON, Today. Mr. J. N. Wilson, President of the Auckland University Colege Students’ Association, who created something of a sensation in University circles by criticism of the New Zealand University in a Capping Day speech, has now received satisfaction. Following the publication of Mr. Wilson’s remarks, the Vice-Chancellor of the University (Professor T. A. Hunter) wrote to him asking him to give details of the grievances he had mentioned. Mr. Wilson then communicated with Professor Hunter and as a result of their correspondence he has received a statement from the University. It is understood that the incident may now be regarded as closed.
