LIMERICK ARRIVES
NIGHTMARCH’S ENGAGEMENTS ' PRIMAGE DUTY IN FORCE United P.A. —By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, Tuesday. Nightmarch today was withdrawn from the Metropolitan Handicap, in which he was top-weight, with 10.3, but remains in the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups. Nine prominent New Zealand horses, including Limerick, Paquito, Gay Crest and Arikiwai, arrived at Sydney today in good condition. The Federal Government’s new primage duty of 21 per cent, was enforced for the first time. This will be refunded if the horses are sent home within six months.
