FRANKLIN POWER BOARD
From Our Own Correspondent PUKEKOHE, Tuesday. The Franklin Electric-Power Board met today, Mr. H. P. Garland presiding - . It was decided to accord support to the Auckland Electric-Power Board in Its emphatic protest against the action of the Public Works Department with regard to power board inspectors. The chairman and the secretary were appointed the board's delegates to the conference of local bodies to consider the air port proposal for Auckland. Instructions were issued to the engineer to furnish an estimate of the cost of installing a plant to manufacture concrete poles.
