SPIRITS TO COST MORE
CANTERBURY DECISION Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. Owing to the increase in duty the retail price of spirits is to be increased proportionately. This de= cision was reached by the Canterbury Licensed Victuallers’ Association yesterday. Nip prices will remain unchanged, but measures will be brought into general use throughout the province. Tho price of a bottle of spirits formerly costing 12s 6d will now be 14s.
