The tournament to decide the Wellington amateur boxing championships began in the Town Hall last evening Owing to inclement weather there was only a moderate attendance. The following are the results; Fea tli er-weights.—W. Smith (S.ll) beat C* Knopp (S. 10), technical knockout. one round: H. Knopp (8.6) beat «T. McDonald (5.111), on points; F. Keith (8.10) beat G. Marshall (8.10), one round; C. Taylor (8.13) beat T. Corbin (8.123) on points. Welter-weights.—Mansfield (10.64) beat L. Strickland, on points. Bantam-weight.—C. Woods (8.0), beat G. Williamson (8.2), on points; It. Wood (8.2), beat K. Webb (7.13 J) on points. Fly-weight.—HL. Allott (7.10) beat E Horace (7.6£) on points. Middle-weights.—A. Hawker (10.13) beat M. Strickland (11.12) on points; N. Croft (10.8 i) knocked out J. Connors (10.123) in the second round, technical knockout. Light-heavy-weight. —B. Strickland (11.13) beat J. W. Stewart (11.82) in second round, the loser being disqualified for holding. Light-weight.—G. Thomas (9.5) knocked out N. Miller (9.33) in the second round; H. Thomas (9.12) knocked out P. Richmond, Bst lib, being overweight; feather-weight, W. Leckie, 9st, beat R. Leckie, Bst 1231 b; light-heavy-weight, G. McEwen (Invercargill), list 7|lb, beat H. Davis, list light-weight, T. Walker, 9st ll£lb, beat S. Brooks, 9st 71b; welterweight, A. S. Lowe, lOst 841 b, beat W. Rodgers, lOst G3lb; heavy-weight, G. Spencer (Bluff), 12st 101 b, beat A. J.
