YOUTH BREAKS LIMBS A youth, Mabin Charles Mekalls, 19 years old who lives with his parents at Glenfield Road. Birkenhead, suffered a broken leg and arm and injuries to his hip when the cycle he was riding crashed into a milk-van, owned and driven by Mr. L. 11. Dick, of Gladstone Road, Northcote. at 4 a.m. this morning. The youth, who is employed as an apprentice baker, was starting work and riding his cycle down Onewa Road when he hit the van. The front whee. of the cycle was buckled, and the van had its radiator bent and the windscreen shattered. After receiving medical attention from Dr. R. G. Dudding the youth was conveyed by launch to Auckland and admitted to the hospital.
