i | f TROPHIES PRESENTED J ) AT SUCCESSFUL MOUNT | EDEN FUNCTION | SWIMMING CLUB DANCE The Mount Eden Swimming Club held a successful dance and presentation of trophies at the Crystal Palace Winter Gardens, Mount Eden Road, on Thursday evening. Mr. A. M. Bryden, Deputy-Mayor of Mount Eden, congratulated the successful winners when presenting them with their trophies. The social committee members present were:—Mrs. R. M. Sheffield, who was wearing apricot and silver lame; Mrs. S. Grange, cerise beaded georgette; Mrs. C. Brown, nile green georgette and gold lace; Miss S. Brown, Venetian blue lace and diamente; Miss S. Grange, ankle length frock of pink crepe de chine. Among those present were: Mrs. \V Williams, who wore pink georgette; Mrs. Cyril Johnston, lettuce green satin and georgette, and gold metal lace: Mrs. Jas. Maskell. ankle length frock of daffodil satin and georgette; Miss S Grange, peacock blue frilled frock; Miss C Brown, blue taffeta; Miss C. Wright, floral ninon georgette; Miss D. Ross, green taffeta and tulle, with oriental lame bridge coat. Miss J Wright, pink satin: Miss Lorna Hirst, ankle length frock of black crepe de chine; Miss Jean Thomson, cyclamen georgette and blue taffeta: Miss Zoe Smith, water-lily green taffeta; Miss K. Maskell. cameo pink georgette: Miss Olga Black, phlox pink frilled crepe de chine; Miss P. Whitaker, shell pink taffeta and georgette; Miss Una Grange, silver georgette; Miss M. Smith, peach georgette; Mils Leslie Eccles, for-get-me-not blue taffeta; Miss J. Auger, red velvet and georgette; Miss A.P. Monk, apricot crepe de chine; Miss M. Meek, oriental lame and pink taffeta; Miss E. Meek, green moire taffeta; Miss .T. lemon taffeta; Miss E. May, apricot satin and diamente; Miss F. Clarke, green satin; Miss 11. Uicard, lemon chiffon velvet. Miss P. Blake, whose frock was of bois de rose gorogette: Miss Ailsa Percy, rose satin and tulle; Miss M. Morey, corn flower blue embroidered taffeta; Miss Z. Thornton,, turquoise blue georgette; Miss Dot Thornton, cyclamen crepe de chine and silver; Miss P. Craig, green crepe «I*» chine; Miss O. Sell, nile green satin beaute; Miss K. Tattley, cream silk lace relieved with beige georgette: Miss D Probert, cyclamen velvet; Miss J. Parsons, lemon net over orange satin; Miss Iris Long, ankle length taffeta • frock • Miss Marjorie Davis blue georgette and lace; Miss May Espie, green crepe de chine; Miss I. Long, ankle length ring velvet and taffeta; Miss A. Stevens, green: georgette and lace; Miss K. Readford. lemon lace and georgette; Miss Jean Sheridan, shell pink satin; Miss Edna Drinnan. black georgette; Miss B. Lewin, flame chiffon velvet and taffeta: Miss L.
