INFORMAL DISCUSSION Today the Auckland Rotary Club discussed land settlement as a means •»f relieving: the present unemployment situation. Following 1 an address by Mr. Charles Rhodes at the luncheon meeting, an informal discussion in which many members took part showed the lively interest taken by the club. The view was advanced that some representative body such as Rotary should make i study of the position, and suggest a emedy to the Government. The discussion will be continued at next Monday's luncheon, whiph will be begun early to give more time for business. Members stood tocktv as a mark of respect for the late L)r. Otto Monson, head of the American delegation to the Zealand Rotary Conference, which was held at Chateau Tongariro recently. A cablegram has been sent to Mrs. Monson. Sympathy was also expressed - with the relatives of Mr. William Davidson Munn. a member of the club, who has been missing since Thursday. 'Visitors at the luncheon included Messrs. J. M.
