ORPHANS’ CLUB MEETS
CONCERT AT DEVONPORT At the meeting of the Devonport Orphans’ Club on Saturday evening. Mi . E. Casey, of the Auckland Orphans’ Club executive, was in the chair. Mr. Lawson, president of the Birkenhead and Northcote Orphans’ Club, extended fraternal greetings from his district. Apologies were received from the Cambridge and Hamilton Clubs. A concert programme was supplied by the club orchestra, conducted by Mr. Chas. AVood. and by Messrs'. Wright. Ivessel, Richards. Taft and Bailey.
