AUCKLAND GUN CLUB
SUCCESSFUL PAST SEASON At the annual meeting of the Auckland Gun Club, the president, Mr. C. H. Drysdale, referred to the successful season experienced. The balance sheet showed the cash balance to be £137, an increase of £27, while the assets, after allowing for full depreciation, are £377, an increase of £33. Members expressed their appreciation of the position of the club. There were 27 shoots during the season and the club’s championships were won by Messrs. H. Clinch and M. Pratt. The election of officei-s resulted as follows: President, Mr. C. H. Drysdale; vice-presidents. Messrs. E. P. Mitchelson. R. H. Montgomery. A. E. Murphy, F. H. Seccombe and J. Williamson; secretary. Mr. T. J. Watts; treasurer, Mr. J. Williamson; auditor, Mr. J. P. McCullough; committee. Messi-s. A. E. Murphy (chairman), P Cairns, W. Curtis, W. E. Grant, W. H. Hazard, C. E. Hodge, I. Lomas. F. E. McKenzie; handicapper and referee. Mr. W. Cui'tis. It was decided to make application for the New Zealand championships for 1931. The first shoot of the season will be held next Wednesday.
