AUCKLAND RACING CLUB

NOMINATIONS FOR OFFICERS Nominations of office-bearers of the Auckland Racing Club closed today. There was only one nomination for president, Sir Edwin Mitchelson, K.C.M.G., M.L.C., therefore being reelected. There was only one nomination for vice-president, and Mr. H. O. Nolan is re-elected for a further term. Seven nominations •were received for five seats on the committee and four nominations for three stewards, and elections will be necessary in both cases. The following were the nominations: —Committee, Messrs. C. A. Brown, F. Earl. K.C., T. Impey, W. C. Motion, O. Nicholson and E. A. Price?: stewards, Messrs. C. W. Anderson, M. J. Lynch, W. C. Ring, sen., and G. A. Wynyard.
