LEG BROKEN IN QUARRY

A piece of rock falling three or four feet broke one of Air. Jack Berjua’s legs while he was working in the quarry of H. Bray and Co., at Penrose, early yesterday afternoon. Mr. Berjua, who lives in Titoki Stret, Ellerslie. was levering a rock about the size of a football when it fell, striking him on the leg just above the ankle, fracturing the bone. .He is a Dalmatian, and is married, but his wife does not reside in New Zealand. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by ambulance.
