TRANSPORT LORRY ON FIRE

Oil in the crankcase of a Transport Board lory caught fire from a heated exhaust while the lorry was on the Great North Road, near Point Chevalier, at 5.45 o’clock this morning. The City Brigade was Called, and extinguished the flames before any damage was done.
