FORBIDDEN DRINK
HOTEL VISITORS FINED From'Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Wednesday. Three Hamilton residents discovered to their cost in the Magistrate’s Court today that no matter how tempting “forbidden fruit” may be to the palate, it is unwise to enter licensed premises after hours. They prof erred their excuses to Air. Wyvern “Wilson, S.M., but those put forward by two of the party, that they had intended booking in before the arrival of the police, were characterised as “such an old game that one looks upon it askance.” The charge against Ishmael Wright St. Clair was dismissed, while Henry James Greenslade was fined 10s and costs, Cyril Thomas Clarkin 20s and costs, and Frederick Borne Stubbing 20s and costs, all for being on the premises after hours.
