Lalgety and Co.. Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly Matamata sale on Wednesday, when there was a fair yarding of all classes of stock, which sold at full market rates. Mixed aged ewes, made 12s; hoggets, 10s 3d; cows, £6 5s to £9 Os; inferior fat cows, £4 10s to £5 17s fid: for ward cows, £4 15s to £5 ss; store cows, £2 10s to £3 1 5s; cows and calves, £7; Jersey weaner heifer calves, £5 9s; dairy heifers coming to Profit. £8 to £10; dairy cows up to £l3 10s; store pigs, 21s to 265; forward stores, £1 15s
