Palmer and Ala-hood, Limited, of Wellington, who filed a confession of judgment. The infringement wain respect to plaintiff copyright of the motorists’ road ma » of the North Island. Plaintiffs claimed an injunction r» straining defendant from infringing its copyright and in particular from printing, publishing or selling motorists’ maps of the North Island which were copies of the plaintiff’s maps, or of material and substantial portions thereof, or of any colourable imitation. Plaintiff also asked for an a» count of the number of maps already printed, published or sold and of maps still in defendants possession or in the possession of any person by defendant’s order, tnd asked for the delivering up of al copies of the maps and the plates used or intended for use in connection with the maps. Costs were also claimed. On the day before the trial defendant company filed a confession of judgment, and on the following day legal argument was heard by Air.
