FURNITURE TRADE ANNUAL DINNER
The annual dinner of the Auckland Furniture Trade Union was held last week, about 70 members being present. Mr. F. Furnell was chairman. Mr. W. Smith proposed the toast of the president and Mr. Furnell suitably replied. An excellent musical programme was given by Mr. Peter Dawson, bass solos; Mr. Dan Flood, humorous monologues; Mr. Ernest JFhiell, baritone solos.
