POLISHING THE STOVE
Your gas-stove, if very rusty, should be well rubbed with linseed oil, left on for an hour or so. Rub off with a soft cloth, and use a little fine sandpaper to take off any very bad spots. Now wipe all over with a cloth wrung out in hot soda water, wipe with a dry wrag, then clean with any stove polish liked, and you should then be able to keep your stove in good condition.
