Levien, S.M., presided at the annual meeting of the Franklin Licensing Committee held today Applications for renewals of licences in respect of the following were granted:—Pukekohe Hotel, E. J. Morrison; Globe Hotel, Papakura, E. C. Foote; Papakura Hotel, J. Meikle; Kentish Hotel, Waiuku, L. T. Peterson; Patumahoe Hotel, A. Parris. The issue of a licence to W. A. Kritch for the Jolly Farmer Inn, Drury, was granted. «
