TWO RARE LOGAN'S

TWO winners on the recent Wa-nganui-Taranaki circuit, which received special mention in THE SUN trotting dispatches, were given their chance in Metropolis tan company at the Canterbury Park fixture. They were Logan's Pride and Harold Logan, and the recruits fully justified the high opinion formed of their capabilities by "Abaydos.” Logan’s Pride secured a second and a first in two starts, and while he was off .4.36 on the opening day, he finished up going 4.26 1-5 yesterday. Harold Logan failed on Saturday, but made amends on the second day when he registered 3.19 2-5 for 12 furlongs from a 3.28 mark.
