Query Club Dance is Enjoyable
Cherry Blosso/n and Fern Decorate Studio ANNUAL FUNCTION Members of the Query Club and their friends spent a happy time last evening when the club’s annual d-ance was held in Symondsville Studio. The studio was very charmingly decorated with trails of pink cherry blossom and green fern, and made a particularly attractive setting for the pretty frocks of the dancers. The Alonte Carlo Band supplied a bright programme of the newest dance numbers. COMMITTEE MEAIBERS PRESENT Aliss AI. Mason’s frock was of lacquer red georgette with pointed draperies. Airs. G. Eddowes had on a black chiffon gown appliqued with velvet flowers. AAIONG TIIE DANCERS Airs. AlcDaren’s frock was of Chinese red and black lace. Airs. H. L. Gibbs had o:a a bouffant frock of cyclamen taffeta. Airs. S. Haycock was wearing flame taffeta. Airs. Aluskett’s gown of black georgette was embroidered with jet beads. Aliss A. Turner was in a frock of primrose taffeta arid net. Miss Norah Alason had chosen daffodil yellow' taffeta. Aliss Myrtle Inskip had on a bouffant frock of printemps green polka dotted tulle, with uneven-length hem. Miss L. Johnson was in * palm green 1 ring velvet and taffeta. Aliss Stronacli had chosen ciel blue taffeta and silver lace. Aliss H. King was wearing gentian blue taffeta with deep shadow hem of tulle. Aliss Ina Wight’s frock was of black and rose flowered chiffon dipping to the ankles. Peach-coloured taffeta and tulle with silver stencilled embroideries was chosen by Aliss G. Williams. Aliss Alona Coath’s frock w*as of embossed georgette and tulle. Aliss McGlashan was in ivory georgette worn over pastel pink. Aliss R. Ovens had on a pretty pink chiffon frock with petalled hem defined ! w-ith silver lace. Aliss Huia Wiseman was wearing pale i daffodil yellow' georgette. Miss R. Wiseman had on larkspur blue . georgette with bands of blue taffeta. j Aliss R. Whitley was W'earing hyacinth 1 blue georgette mounted on silver lame. Aliss AI. Alison had on a pale pink georgette frock panelled wYth gold lace. Aliss Alays was wearing black georgette and Chantilly lace. Aliss Gudgeon’s pretty frock was of blue sprigged taffeta. Aliss O’Neill was wearing a fine black lace frock mounted on pale pink chiffon. Aliss Freda Coyte had chosen a gown of plox pink moire. Aliss Lilian Coyte’s frock was of amber brocaded taffeta. Forget-me-not blue taffeta fashioned the frock worn by Aliss Neville. Aliss Snoad was in peach pink chiffon with diamente relief. Aliss Nancy Webb had chosen cloth of silver and lido blue georgette. Aliss Phyllis Dicky had on a Victorian frock of leaf-green taffeta. Aliss Ida Parkinson’s frock was of cameo pink georgette relieved with diamente, Aliss O’Brien was wearing a dahlia coloured georgette frock.
Aliss AlcCormick had on a gown of conifer green taffeta and tulle.
Aliss Rona Anderson’s frock was of Nile green chenille embossed georgette.
