AUCKLAND WEDDING
BRIDE IN IVORY GEORGETTE RICHARDS—CRAWLEY At the Church of Christ, Dominion Road, on Tuesday afternoon, a. pretty wedding took place when Dr. Rosina Dorothy Crawley, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Crawley, of Great South Road, One Tree Hill, was married to Dr. John F. Gwytlier Richards, of Milton Road, ‘Mount Eden. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. H. A. G. Clark. Given away by her father, the bride wore a bridal gown of ivory georgette, the full skirt falling in graceful points to the ankles from a corsage of ivory lace with a georgette yoke. The narrow belt which encircled the waist was fastened in front with a diamente buckle. Her beautiful brussels net veil, which formed the train, was edged with filet lace and caught to the head with a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of white and pale pink flowers. Two maids attended the bride, Miss Ivy Crawley, sister of the bride, and Muss Effie Cape. Their frocks were of delphinium blue taffeta fashioned with close-litting bodices and bouffant ankle-length skirts with yoke and hem ot blue georgette outlined with silverembroidered buds. A large blue taffeta bow was worn at the waistline. They wore blue felt hats turned back from the face and caught with a diamente buckle and they carried shower bouquets of blue and pink flowers The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Murray Glaister and Mr. aA-T 011 ?, Crawley was groomsman. lipW the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents where Mrs. Crawley received her ln a .. frock of navy wool crepe de chine relieved with beige georgette. . 0 wore a. black velvet hat with a diamente ornament and carried abouquet of flowers in autumn shades.
