SURPRISE PARTY
JOLLY DANCE EVENING AT REMUERA The numerous young friends of Mr. Pat Juinn gave him a very pleasant surprise party on Saturday evening, at his parent’s residence, Market Road, Remuera. Miss Clarice Carder, wearing a charming frock of crimson satin, acted as hostess, in the absence of Mrs. L. A. Quinn and her daughter Doris, who arrived later in the evening. Dancing and games formed the evening’s entertainment, which was thoroughly enjoyed by those present. Among the guests were: Miss Betty Linline, wearing a dainty frock of shell pink georgette and silver lace; Miss V. Drimin, cyclamen lame and georgette; Miss Mavis Carder, ankJelength frock of jade green taffeta and gold lace; Miss M. Linline, larkspur blue georgette and silver lace; Miss Doris Quinn, black georgette embossed in saxe blue, and shawl to tone;Airs. L. A. Quinn, beautiful petunia floral ninon frock; Mrs. K. Carder, black georgette and diamond trimming; Miss L. Fraser, apricot crepe de chine and tulle uneven hem; Miss lima Carder, geranium ring velvet and tulle; Miss E. Torr, ankle-length frock of lime georgette.
