REVOLVERS FOUND IN HOME WELLINGTON OFFENCES Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Ngaio Jan© Turner, aged 18, in whose home was recently found evidence of burglary and theft, also two revolvers and a baton weighted with lead, was sentenced by his Honour Mr. Justice Blair today to three years’ reformative detention. It is supposed that some person was behind Turner. James Carruthers Black, a young man, who bought a car, but could not keep up the payments, and who had pleaded guilty to false pretences and forgery, was admitted to probation for two years.
