TREE WRECKS HOUSE
ACCIDENT DURING FELLING OPERATIONS “SMASHED TO PIECES” Press Association NAPIER, Today. A house at Eskdale was smashed to pieces by a huge pine tree. The wind caught the tree when it was prepared for being felled, and carried it in the wrong direction. Nobody was hurt but the house, the property of R. Holt, was ruined. It was occupied by F. Saunders.
