Mr. Wyatt has taken an active part In several activities of Morrinsviii<& and is people’s warden of St. Matthew’s (Anglican) Church and treasurer of the Morrinsville Horticultural Society.

The death occurred on Tuesday of Mr. John Brosnan, a well-known farmer of Ho. S Road, Tatuanui. Mr. Brosnan had resided in the Morrinsville district for about seven years and was widely respected by a large circle of friends. The members of the Tatuanui Croquet Club organised a working bee to renovate their lawns, which have been damaged by the recent dry weather and the attack of the grass grub. Last week 14 men and eight women hi embers attended, and under the supervision of Messrs. A. and R. Hockey, of Morrinsville, who gave their advice and assistance voluntarily, the work was accomplished in splendid fashion. As a result of this concerted effort the lawns should be in excellent order for next season.
