POKENO WEDDING
BRIDE IN SATIN AND SILVER LACE • BROWN—KEITH At the Anglican Church, Pokeno, the marriage took place recently of Mavis, * second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Iveith, of Kaiaua (New Brighton), to Mervyr., fifth son of Mr. H. Brown and the late Mrs. Brown, of Remuera. . The Rev. T. H. Heaslip officiated, and Mrs. J. B. Parker was at the organ. r The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of ivory satin beaute with a yoke and deep hem of silver lace. Her veil was of embroidered tulle and was surmounted by a coronet of orange blossom, and she carried a sheaf of belladonna lilies. 0 Her s'Ster. Miss Ethel Keith, ati tended as bridesmaid, wearing a frock i of shell-pink georgette with a tiered j skirt of cream lace. She carried a i bouquet of white flowers and maidenj hair fern. Little Miss Inez de Jongh. niece of the bride, was flowergirl. She wore pink crepe de chine with a frilled I skirt. and carried a posy of pink ! flowers. Mr. Maurice attended as best man.
