TUAKAU BRIDE HAS NINON FROCK WITH HAND-PAINTED SKIRT
CRONIN—WALDRON The marriage of Elva Frances, fourth daughter of Mrs. Waldron and the late Mr. Waldron, of Tuakau, to Thomas Henry, fifth son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Cronin, of Pukekohe, was celebrated at St. John’s Anglican Church, Tuakau. The Rev. C. A. Vaughan officiated and Mrs. Vaughan presided at the organ. Given away by her uncle, Mr. -A. Cathcart, the bride wore an anklelength frock of french ninon, with a tight-fitting bodice and pointed hemline. Her embroidered tulle veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossom and pearls, and she carried a bouquet of white and pink chrj'santhemums and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid, Miss Daphne Waldron, wore an ankle-length frock of pink crepe de chine, with a tight-fit-ting bodice and a double flared skirt. She wore a felt hat to tone and carried a bouquet m pink and white shades. Mr. C. Cathcart was best man.
