PAPATOETOE METHODISTS Airs. Haddock and Airs. CoAvling p#2sided over a larg€> attendance at the At Home held in the Alethodist School Flail, Papatoetoe, yesterday, under the auspices of the Papatoetoe branch of the Alethodist Women’s Guild. The Rev. J. Gatman extended a hearty welcome to the large gathering, and congratulated the members «n the Avell-stocked stalls, which had been erected in the hall. These were in charge of Airs. F. Partridge, sAveet stall; Mesdames Nesbitt and Oliver, sewing stall; Alesdames AlcKenzie and AlcPonald and Aliss D. Bryant, cake stall; Airs. Thompson, produce stall. The At Home Avas held during the afternoon and evening, and a very enjoyable programme of musical items Avas contributed by Airs. Cyril Firth, pianoforte solo; Aliss De Luen, vocal solo; Aliss Cook, violin solo; Air. H. Elder, vocal solo; Aliss Louie Reid and Airs. Reg. Firth, vocal duet; Dr. J. J. Valentine, Airs. Reg. Firth, vocal solo; and Aliss Louie Reid, vocal solo. An amusing sketch entitled “Alaltreating Eggs.’’ Avas presented by Aliss Aloyna Haddock and Air. H. Elder.
