Astill took six wickets for 35. In the second innings six wickets were lost for 122. Geary took four for 38. Leicester in the first innings mads 269 (Riley 76). Newman took four wickets for 42. Leicester won on the first innings. Nottingham in the first innings lost nine for 295 (declared). White took four for 73. Somerset in the first innings got 107 and in the second innings 143 (Ingle 73). Nottingham won by jrtl innings and 45 runs. Gloucester in the first innings made 115. Tyldesley took four for 30 and Sibbles three for 19. In the second innings they lost seven for 80. Lancashire in the first innings made 118. Goddard took seven for 60.
