TOWN BOARD’S DECISIONS

ALTERATION OF BUS STOP A winter time-table was submitted by the Auckland Bus Company at a meeting of the Glen Eden Town Board on Monday evening, and it was decided to suggest one alteration, and also that the present Prospect Road terminus be changed to Campbell Road. It was also decided to request that the fare from Glen Eden to Pitt Street be reduced to 3d a trip. The clerk was instructed to inform the secretary of the Association Football Club, that unless some payment was made for the use of the ground the board would not permit matches to be played. Stock routes for the district were fixed as follow:—West end of West Coast Road, Valley Road, View Road, Eaurilands Road, and Prospect Road.
