CRIME IN DUNEDIN
HOLD-UP MEN AT WORK BAG-SNATCHING REPORTED Pi'ess Association / DUNEDIN, Today. Late on Friday night a van-driver nas held up by two men on the hill beyond Caversham suburb but mataged to get away. The two'men called at a lonely farm house on Pine Hill. Tshere an old man was alone. and alter inquiring their way they knocked him down and took about £4. A police inspector stated todav during the hearing of an idle and disorderly charge in the Magistrate’s Lourt that several cases of bag-snatch-ing and assault and robberv had been reported.
