HURT IN MOTOR CRASH
£7OO DAMAGES AWARDED Press Association PALMERSTON X., Today. Special damages amounting to £325 and general damages of £375 were awarded in the Supreme Court today to Stanley Richard Small, of Levin a butcher. Application was brought bv plaintiff to assess damages received in a motor collision with S. Hamilton, of Levin. i l n Juiy last. The latter admitted his liability. The medical evidence showed that plaintiff received a compound fracture of his right leg and that the muscler thigh of the leg had shrunk by disuse, the latter temporarv. though there would be a permanent hampering of the movement of the limb. The permanent loss of efficient would be 10 per cent.
