HOCKEY BEGINS
TOMORROW’S PROGRAMME PERSONNEL OF TEAMS Marked keenness characterises hockey players of all grades. Matches will begin tomorrow' at Remuera, Walker Park, Onehunga and elsewhere. Seven senior men’s teams will compete this winter. Two matches will take place at Remuera and one at Walker Park. University plays North Shore and Varsity Whippets crosses sticks with St. Luke’s, both matches taking place at Remuera- Last year’s champions. Somerville, will oppose Wesley, which team is making its first appearance in senior grade. The match is set down for Walker Park. The bye has been drawn by Mount Eden.
