PUKEKOHE LITERARY CLUB

The annual meeting of the gymnasium branch of the Pukekohe Literary and Social Club was held this week, Mr. E. G. Moncrief presiding. It Avas reported that the membership- of the tAvo classes totalled 43. During the. season 40 Aveekly classes had been held. Officers elected were: Patron, Dr. A. T. Begg; president, Mr*. Moncrief; vicepresidents, Messrs. G. H. Armstrong, G. Bowden, J. Scobie and W. H. Taylor; secretary and treasurer. Mr. A. C. Gill, junior; committee, Messrs. A. Bowden, L. Knowles and J. Scobie.
