AUCKLAND’S CORNISHMEN
ANNUAL MEETING HELD A membership of 200 was shown by the secretary’s report at the annual meeting of the Auckland Cornish Association, held on Tuesday in the Orient Tearooms, Newmarket. The treasurer reported a balance that was considered favourable. A new constitution was draAvn up and adopted. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr. J. Corbett-Scott; president, Mr. W. J. Cocks; vice-presidents, Messrs. G. F. Williams, J. H. G. Earle (re-elected), W. Johns, R. Tiddy, Mesdames W. Hughes and R. Jackson; secretary, Mr. W. J. Tucker; treasurer, Mr. C. James; committee, Messrs. Odgers, Hosking, R. Dingle, C. Hill, F. HaAvken, J. S. Stephens, Mesdames W. J Tucker, C. James, N. Norton, Love, Miss Thorne, Miss J. Williams; financial secretary, Mr. W. Johns; official pianist, Miss J. Williams.
