POPPY DAY APPEAL

TOTAL NOW MORE THAN £1,950 A total of £1,965 has been received by the Returned Soldiers’ Association in proceeds from the Poppy Day Appeal and it is expected that with amounts yet to .come to hand the total will exceed the sum of £2,002 received last year. Several returns have still to come from outlying districts and the proceeds from the sale of the “Anzac Anthem" have yet to be computed.
