Ken Maynard plays the young cavalry officer who serves both his country and the peaceful and honourful inhabitants of Southern California, who are beset by hordes of renegades seeking to profit from the unsettled conditions. His leading lady is beautiful Kathryn Crawford, one of the most talented of the younger actresses of the screen Miss Crawford appears to perfection in her Spanish Californian part. The film is packed with action from start to finish. Maynard, on his horse Tarzan. performs the daring riding stunts that have won him international fame. “Wise Girls.” another talkie, and a comedy of matrimonial entanglements, is the second feature.
