PRINCE EDWARD

A short season of “The Desert Song” begins at the Prince Edward Theatre today. The production, based on the original stage play, is replete with choruses, dancer, songs, music, and dialogue. John Boles, the leading tenor, had the same role in the original presentation on the New York stage. Carlotta King, who plays op posite him. is a concert artist with a pleasing lyric soprano voice. The plot has been well preserved in its transference to the screen.
