Enjoyable talkie entertainment is being provided at the Grand Theatre, where two big pictures are being shown. The first is “The Man I Love.” a splendid romantic tale with a background of the boxing ring, starring as the two young lovers Mary Brian and Richard Arlen. Clara Bow is the star of the second big attraction. This is the talkie. “Dangerous Curves.” an c?xciting tale of circus life, with Miss Bow and Richard Arlen as trapeze artists. plauded. Fred Scholl's pieces at the Grand Organ were a medely of Irish national airs entitled “A Bit of Blarney.” and a humorous item purporting to be the autobiography of an organist. A Fox Movietone News, with items from all over the world, and a short comedy and dancing number. “After the Show,” completed the programme.
