FILM POSTER CENSORSHIP

EXCHANGES TO CO-OPERATE From Our Resident Reporter WELLINGTON, Today. The Film Exchanges Association states that it is willing to co-operate with the Government in facilitating the censorship of film posters, a subject concerning which representations were recently made to the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle. Some time ago the film exchanges completed work on draft regulations governing the procedure in dealing with film posters. Provision for this censorship was made in legislation passed two years ago, and has never been put into operation because of lack of staff and accommodation in the film censor’s office.
