BRIDE IN CAMEO PINK
TWO MAIDS IN POWDERBLUE MOIRE ELLIOT—FRASER At St. Matthew’s Church on Wednesday afternoon, the marriage was celebrated of Majorie Annie, only daughter of Mrs. A. Fraser, of Valley Road, Mount Eden, and Arthur Gordon, eldest son of Mr, and Mrs. Elliott, of Papakura. The ceremony was performed by Canon Grant Cowen. A frock of cameo pink georgette, with a full ankle-length skirt, bordered with tulle in the same shade, was worn by the bride. Her tulle veil, which formed the train, was arranged on the head with a lace cap. caught at the back with pale pink orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of pink dahlias. Two maids were in attendance. Miss Clara Paykel and Aliss Doris Marmont, .wearing frocks of powder-blue moire silk, with long full skirts falling from a slanting waistline. They wore close-fitting hats of orchid-shaded felt and carried bouquets to match. Air. Elliott caried out the duties of best man and Air. J. Fraser was groomsman.
