A SHEAF OF AUTUMN FLOWERS

HONEY-COLOURED LACE WEDDING GOWN CAMERON—ROBERTS St. Barnabas Church was the scene of the wedding on Tuesday morning of Miss Gladys Roberts, third daughter of Mrs. Roberts and the late Mr. R. J. Roberts. of Christchurch, to Mr. Donald Cameron, of Arapuni. The Rev. Air. Harvie conducted the ceremony and Air. "White played the wedding music. Given away by her "brother-in-law, Air. G. H. Birch, the bride wore a charming honey-coloured lace ensemble with a large crinoline hat to match and she carried a sheaf of autumn flowers. Two maids were in attendance, Aliss Marie Birch, niece of the bride, and Aliss Alarie Edwards. Both were dressed alike in pale pink georgette, with large tulle hats in the same shade, and they carried dainty bouquets of pink carnations, dahlias and roses. Air. A. McKeown carried out the duties of the best man. Later a reception was held at the Alount Eden Tea Kiosk, where Airs. G. H. Birch, who acted as hostess, received the guests wearing a frock of wine satin beaute with a hat to match and she carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums and roses to match her frock. Airs. Edwards, Xorth Canterbury, sister of the bride, was frocked in claret crepe satin with a hat in the same shade. To travel in the bride wore a frock of burgundy moire ring velvet with fur-trimmed coat and felt hat to tone.
