DRAPED BRIDAL GOWN

MAIDS IN APPLE-GREEN CARRY SILVER BASKETS OF PALE PINK FLOWERS COCKBURN—WORRALL The wedding was celebrated on Wednesday evening at St. Andrew's Church, Epsom, of Ada Winifred, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Worrall, of Onslow Road, Epsom, and Mr. John Gibbs Cockburn, of Takapuna, eldest son of Mrs. Janet Cockburn, of Rothsay, Scotland. The Rev. F. P. Willis officiated. Given away by her brother, Mr. W. Worrall, the bride wore a frock of ivory satin with a full ankle-length skirt; the pretty draped effect was given by two folded side panels. The neck and waistline were inlet with a design of ivory ring velvet defined with silk stitching, and ring velvet also appeared on the side panels and hem. She wore a beautiful liandembroidered tulle veil bordered with brussels lace and arranged on the head with sprays of orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of white flowers. In attendance as bridesmaids were Miss Xgaire Webber and Miss Hilda Heywood, wearing frocks of applegreen georgette with full ankle-length skirts of circular piCot-edged frills. A large green bow was worn on the hip, the ends falling to the hem. They wore green felt hats with scalloped brims, and finished at the back with a long streamer of silver lame ribbon, held in place with a brilliant buckle. They carried silver baskets of pink flowers. Little Joan Lincoln was flower girl and wore a frock of coral pink georgette with a frilled skirt, and pink taffeta hip bow. Her poke bonnet was of pink ruched chiffon and she carried a silver basket of pink flowers. Mr. J. Miller was best man, and Mr. A. Waterman was groomsman. Mr. F. Crippen and Mr. E. Bray acted as ushers. Mrs. Worrall, mother of the bride, wore a frock of navy satin with a flared skirt and navy hat, trimmed with ospreys. • She carried a bouquet of deep red flowers.
