LOVELY MIST PINK VEIL OF NET AND FINE POINT LACE

BRIDESMAIDS WEAR SHEAF ARMLETS TO TONE WITH THEIR SHELL-PINK GOWNS CLARKE—WRIGHT A beautiful bridal gown of ivory ninon over cameo pink was chosen by Dorothy Elsie, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wright, of "Farnham,” Khyber Pass, for her marriage with Clifton Edwards, eldest son of Mrs. and the late Mr. C. Clarke, of Herne Bay, yesterday afternoon. The marriage was celebrated at St. Benedict’s Church by Bishop Liston, assisted by Monsignor Cahill. Miss Maida Hooker presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore her gown anklelength, slightly dipping at the back. The skirt was very full and rows of tiny frills were at intervals from the hem to the waist. The close-fitting corsage, on which was a dainty design in seed pearls and diamente, had long full sleeves, with tiny frills. Her beautiful mist pink brussels net veil embroidered with fine point lace was arranged with a juliette cap, and held in place with sprays of orange blossom at the back of the neck, a trail falling to the waist. She carried a sheaf of white lilies embedded in mist pink tulle. Two bridesmaids attended the bride. Miss Kona Wright, . sister of the bride, and Miss Nion Pettit. They wore frocks of shell pink georgette made alike, with long, tight-fitting bodices from which fell deep flared skirts with uneven hems of silk tulle in the same shade. A buckle in a deeper shade of pink was worn at the neck. Their picture hats were of pink felt and crinoline straw, with a posy of flowers in the same shade, and they wore sheaf armlets of shaded pink flowers and tulle. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. R. King and Mr. Meville Clarke was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, which was beautifully decorated with white wedding bells, multi-coloured streamers and lanterns. Over the tables was an arch of wedding bells. To receive her guests Mrs. Wright wore a gown of black embossed georgette over cyclamen satin, with a smart black velour hat relieved with a diamente buckle. Her bouquet was of carnations in shades of deep pink. Mrs. Clarke wore a black georgette and lace frock with a hat to match, and she carried a bouquet of flowers in autumn shades.
