EVENING WEDDING
BRIDE WEARS POWDER BLUE GEORGETTE OVER SILVER THOMAS—CAVANAGH The wedding was quietly celebrated at the Epiphany Church on Wednesday evening of Pearl Isabella, daughter of Mr. T. Cavanagh, late of Invercargill, to Low Thomas, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. T. Prenter, of Auckland. The Rev. Mr. Coats performed the ceremony. The bride entered the church on the arm of her cousin, Mr. J. Bissett, wearing a powder blue frock of georgette over satin, made with a tight-fitting corsage, the skirt falling gracefully to ankle length, with a dainty scalloped hem. A spray of blue and silver was worn at the shoulders, and a diamente buckle was fastened at the hip. Her soft felt hat, which harmonised with her frock, was trimmed with velvet and a diamente ornament. She carried a shower bouquet of blue hydrangeas, pink begonias, and sweet pea trails. The bride was attended by Miss M. Prenter as bridesmaid, who wore a shell pink georgette ankle-length frock over satin, with frilled skirt and cape collar. She wore a felt hat to tone, with touches of pink and silver, and carried a shower bouquet of pink dahlias and sweet peas. The bridegroom was,attended by Mr. T. Cavanagh, brother of the bride, as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Gaiety Hall, Surrey Crescent, where Mrs. T. Cavanagh received her guests wearing a black crepe de chine frock relieved with silver. She carried a bouquet of autumn tints. Mrs. T. Prenter, grandmother of the bridegroom, wore a black satin ensemble suit. Mrs. J. B. Walsh, grandmother of the bride, wore a black satin beaute frock, with french embroideries and a skunk wrap.
